Mettiamoci una pezza !

Ecco la mia pezza double face per la bellissima iniziativa:

"Mettiamoci una pezza"

Basta pochissimo per partecipare solo fare 1 pezza dai 20 cm. o  25 cm.

ma anche 40 cm. oppure 50 cm.

e spedirla entro il 24 marzo ,

così in occasione della ricorrenza del sisma del 6 aprile, la città dell'Aquila sarà ricoperta di pezze provenienti da tutto il mondo !

How to participate

 The event “Lets Patch It!” is free and open to everyone At first we want to cover a surface of 100 square meters and spread flowers in downtown historic L’Aquila on the earthquake’s anniversary date on April 6, 2009 We would prefer to collect knitted patches measuring :50 cm x 50 cm o da 25 cm x 25 cm 40 cm x 40 cm o da 20 cm x 20 cm The squares can be done with knitting or crochet technique in any sort stitching, thread, or color.  Same criteria follows with the flowers.You can mail the patch or the flower to the following address:

For organizations and logistic purposes we would like to receive the patches and flowers by March 24, 2012. Please label the items with your name and city of origin. Let us know if you are going to participate to this event by leaving a comment on our blog titled “Lets Patch It!”, on our Facebook page, or sending an e-mail to  mettiamociunapezza@gmail.com, specifying (if possible)  the size of your patch. What else shall we say?  If is true that unity is strength and that the actions of creativity goes beyond the rules and red tape, well, lets hope that all shows in L’Aquila .
